Dr. Jim is from Oak Harbor Ohio, he attended the University of Toledo and Scott College in Davenport Iowa as part of his pre-med education. He obtained his Doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

Dr. Jim is also a military veteran, having served 7+ years in the United States Air Force. Dr. Jim attends a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education a year and has accumulated more than 1,000 hours of nutritional education.
